Jeep Compass Trim Levels
If you’re interested in driving around the Mansfield, Attleboro, and Norton, MA, areas in a high-quality compact SUV, you should take a close look at the new Jeep Compass. The Compass is one of the best SUVs on the market, and if you equip this vehicle with the right trim level, you’ll have a driving experience that feels like it was tailor-made for you. Here are the Jeep Compass trim levels that you can choose and some of the features you’ll find with each trim.
Features Across Trims
Jeep Compass Sport
The Sport trim is the base trim level of the Jeep Compass. This trim comes standard with 16-inch wheels, and you’ll also enjoy a range of useful technology. Some of the standard tech features provided by the Sport trim include Bluetooth® capability, a stereo system with six speakers, and a USB port. The Sport is also equipped with a Uconnect® infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen to keep you connected.
When you look to the exterior of the Sport trim, you’ll notice halogen quad headlamps with daytime running lights. Power-heated side mirrors are also standard to keep your visibility high during morning dew or frost. To stay cool in the hotter months or warm when fall comes around, the new Compass Sport has dual-zone automatic temperature control.
New Jeep Compass Latitude
The Compass Latitude trim level offers several features that offer you increased convenience when driving the Compass. For example, you’ll easily be able to get into your new SUV and get on the road thanks to Remote Keyless Enter ‘N Go™. The Latitude also provides an ergonomic, leather-wrapped steering wheel that feels great to the touch. Seats in this trim level are covered in cloth and simulated leather upholstery.
Other interior upgrades come in the form of an available larger, 8.4-inch touchscreen display ready with Uconnect® 4C NAV connectivity.
Jeep Compass Sun & Wheel
The next trim level up is the Sun & Wheel, which comes with many of the same features included in the Compass Sport and Latitude trims. First, you’ll notice a few exterior upgrades, such as larger 17-inch polished aluminum wheels with granite accented pockets. This trim also has a slightly improved interior design thanks to a full sunroof with a powered front pane and fixed rear pane.
Drivers can expect to see other standard offerings, like deep-tinted sunscreen glass, black fog lamp bezels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Jeep Compass Upland
While this trim is equipped with many of the same interior comforts and technology as the Latitude, the Upland trim receives some exterior upgrades taken from other new Compass models. The Upland foregoes 17-inch silver painted aluminum wheels for 17-inch polished aluminum ones with gloss black wheel pockets. Not only were these wheels designed to look striking, but they also provide added traction and responsiveness.
Additionally, this trim has the same front fascia as the Trailhawk but in black with matte black tow hooks to give a more assertive stance on and off the road. To distinguish the Upland from other Compass trims, gloss black accents were also added to the badging, fog lamps, and grille.
Jeep Compass Altitude
The Altitude trim further elevates the exterior appearance of the Compass, moving to completely gloss black painted 18-inch aluminum wheels. When you take a look at the roof of this trim, you’ll notice a gloss black finish and an available Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof for those warmer sunny days. The Altitude has similar black accents to the Upland trim on the badging, front fascia, and lower rear fascia.
Consistency is key when it comes to a fluid design inside and out, which is why this trim comes with piano black interior accents around the air conditioning vents, multimedia console, and shift knob.
Jeep Compass Limited
The next available trim level is the Limited, and it provides an impressive amount of equipment. For starters, the Uconnect® system in this trim comes standard with a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen as well as Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® smartphone integration. For optimal comfort, the Limited trim includes dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. It includes other exterior features, too, such as upgraded trimming and larger 18-inch wheels.
In the Limited trim, the leather-wrapped steering wheel comes standard with a heating function, and you also get handy ambient LED interior lighting. To avoid the heat during the warmer months–especially with black interiors–the Limited trim has a remote-start system that you can use to turn your Jeep on from your front door.
New Jeep Compass Trailhawk
The top trim level of the new Compass is the Trailhawk, and the purpose of this trim is to provide the best off-road driving experience possible. With this trim, you’ll have several features that make driving on a bumpy track much easier. The 17-inch wheels of this trim are equipped with off-road tires that can handle rough terrain. The Trailhawk trim also makes navigating obstacles simple, thanks to a front fascia designed to improve approach and breakover angles, and a raised suspension.
Other Trailhawk features include a Selec-Terrain® system, tow hooks, and skid plates for the fuel tank, transmission, and suspension.
Jeep Compass High Altitude
Take a seat in the High Altitude trim, and you’ll notice the same center-mounted 8.4-inch touchscreen that’s in the Limited trim–but this Uconnect® system is upgraded to have a navigation component. The audio system in the High Altitude also gets a bump to Beats™ Premium Audio System, which includes a 506-watt amplifier, nine speakers, and a subwoofer for concert-quality sound.
Unique to this trim are granite crystal accents around the grille and badging. Instead of 17-inch painted aluminum wheels, the High Altitude trim is upgraded to sit on 19-inch satin granite-finished aluminum ones.
