The most powerful engine you can get with the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the Supercharged 6.2L V8 engine that pushes out 707 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque. The only other option with the Ford Edge besides its standard engine is its available 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 engine. This produces 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.

At its best, the Ford Edge can tow up to 3,500 pounds while the Jeep Grand Cherokee can pull along heavier equipment with a maximum towing capacity of 7,200 pounds.
